As of October 1, the prostitutes of Ghent, Belgium will have to start dressing more conservatively or face a 120 euro fine.
The new local police order forces prostitutes working day and night behind windows to cover up and stop sexually-charged poses before pedestrians.
Mayor Daniel Termont said he is not anit-prostitutes but that they need to “respect certain rules.”
The new rules also include the prohibition of women appearing “naked, in underwear, in bikinis or in see-through clothes,” or of “dancing in windows” or miming sexual acts.”
Ed. Note: “Good luck enforcing this new regulation!”
