Oncologist Says Thailand is Not Ready for Medical Marijuana

Thailand has been riding the rumor wave on whether or not the marijuana will be legalized for medical purposes. There are various government agencies, and medical professionals that support the legalization of the plant.

However, there are still those who doubt whether Thailand is ready for marijuana to be used on patients. Dr. Petch Alisanant, a radiation oncologist at the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital warns those who turn to medical marijuana to wait until it is properly researched, tested and legalized in Thailand.
