Atlanta Bill to Strengthen Gun Laws at Airport
A Georgia bill might make it legal to carry guns in non-secured areas of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
House Bill 365 would allow for specific zones in the airport that would allow concealed-carry weapons, such as parking lots, shops, and other areas outside the airport’s screening checkpoints.

Conversely, the bill also would make it a misdemeanor to bring the weapon unknowingly into a secure area, and a felony would be charged if the person did so “with an intent to commit another crime, including a fine of up to $15,000 and at least a year in jail.”
