Alan Greenspan Says Gold is Good Investment
Alan Greenspan, an American economist and a former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, said that gold is a good investment under the current market conditions, reports CNBC.
“Mr. Greenspan said gold is a good place to put money these days given its value as a currency outside of the policies conducted by governments,” stated Wall Street Journal reporter Michael S. Derby.
According to CNBC, Greenspan “once described his own public statements about the Fed’s decisions on monetary policy as ‘a language of purposeful obfuscation,’ employed to prevent markets from overreacting to statements about future policy.”
