Notification of the Ministry of Public Health
Subject: Names of narcotics of category 5
B.E. 2556
By virtue of Section 6 paragraph one and Section 8 (1) and (2) of the Act. Narcotics B.E. 2522 (1979), the Minister of Public Health, with the approval of the Narcotics Control Board, issued the following notification:
Article 1 shall be canceled.

Clause 2 The drug shall be punished with the names as follows: It is a narcotics of category 5 under the Narcotics Act, B.E. 2522 and its revised version.
(1) Cannabis, a plant of the genus Cannabis, and various substances or substances contained in the cannabis plant, such as rubber, oil, except the following substances or substances: Only licensed to produce in the country Not classified as a narcotics of category 5.
(A) bark, trunk, fibers, branches and roots
(B) leaves which do not have shoots or inflorescences attached to them

(2) Hemp, a plant with the scientific name Cannabis sativa L. subsp. (4) Poppy plants, plants whose botanical name is Papaver somniferum L. and Papaver bracteatum Lindl. Or other names of the same genus that provide opium or alkaloids of opium.
(5) Kwai mushroom or Kwai mushroom plant. The scientific name is Psilocybe cubensis (Earle) Singer or other names of the same genus that provide psilocybin or psilocin.
