Cave Rescue Diver Sues Elon Musk for Defamation
Vernon Unsworth, a British diver who helped rescue the 12 Thai boys trapped deep in a cave in the north of Thailand, is suing Tesla CEO Elon Musk for defamation.
Unsworth, a Chiang Rai resident, is pressing charges on Musk after the tech visionary called him a “pedo”, “child rapist”, and claiming that the diver moved to Thailand to marry a 12-year-old bride.
Up until now, none of Musk’s attacks have any substantial evidence backing them up.
Musk’s fury began after Unsworth accused Musk of pulling a PR stunt with his tiny, child-sized submarine that he proposed to rescue the young soccer team stuck in the cave.
Musk’s Tesla electric car company has seen loads of struggles in recent weeks, with its stock price falling 22%.
This controversy and the recent uproar of Musk smoking weed on Joe Rogan’s podcast will almost surely make the stock plummet even more.
